FlexPro is a testament to creating inclusive, ergonomic, and versatile cable attachments that cater to the diverse needs of users, ensuring a seamless and effective workout experience for all.

This project was initiated from my interests. My concerns with current cable attachments. I pursue this interest and decide to conduct interviews to gain more insight into concerns regarding. My main goal is to make fitness a more inclusive space.

Redesigning cable attachments to prioritize comfort and minimize strain on the grip, fostering an environment where users can engage in exercises effortlessly. By maximizing both grip and comfort to cater to a wide array of exercises, targeting various muscle groups with ease and efficiency.

Braille is a system of touch reading and writing for blind persons in which raised dots represent the letters of the alphabet.

Soft Foam

Adds a cushiony layer that contours to the hand, reducing strain and pressure points during use. Its texture provides a comfortable, secure grip, even during intense workouts, enhancing user experience.

Soft Rubber

offers a non-slip surface, adding extra grip and stability. Its flexibility absorbs shock and reduces impact on the joints, making it an excellent choice for users who require additional support and comfort.

Aluminium

Provides a sturdy, lightweight frame, ensuring durability while maintaining ease of handling. Its strength supports high-tension pulls and resists wear, making it ideal for long-term use.

Prototyping

The cable attachments were 3D printed to scale and were tested for comfort and function. The attachment can be used for various exercises, the image below demonstrates two of those exercises.
